After months off the stage due to the death of his main voice singer, Israel Romero returns with a new format.

After the re-organization, the group is renamed "Binomio De Oro De América".

In 1996, "El Binomio De Oro De América" achieved the Double Platinum Record and the 'Villanuevero' singer Jorge Celedón entered, he would act as second singer alongside Jean Carlos Centeno and replace Gaby García and Richard Salcedo.

After two successful record works with Codiscos, 'Más cerca a ti' and 'Difícil de igualar', the 2003 song 'Niña Bonita' became the song of the year in Colombia, above international artists such as Juanes and Shakira.
